We are extremely excited to offer Scholarships.

First Generation...

College Debt Services (CDS) will support colleges and universities First Generation college students each year with our annual scholarships program.

Getting into college is a goal throughout our society, beyond the pure value of getting an education, studies show that earning a degree correlates with better career prospects and higher income.

A 2010 study by UCLA found that 1 in 6 college students in the U.S. are first-generation students, defined as those whose parents did not receive education beyond a high school diploma. And yet the same study found that first-generation students face unique challenges in adjusting to college and graduating with a degree.

Extending access to education is a national goal. That’s why we are offering up to $210,000 in First Generation scholarships through colleges and universities for their students.

HOW IT WORKS

By enabling CDS to facilitate documentation for the 10 year Loan Forgiveness program, schools will become eligible to receive 4 year scholarships!!!

Alumni association members, graduates and those in default with over $10,000 in federal direct student loans qualify for our FREE services.

Scholarships amounts are contingent on how many student loan borrowers we help become industry eligible for the 10-year loan forgiveness.
